VADNAIS HEIGHTS - Easton Cody made 39 saves and Alex Clampitt scored the winning goal late in the third period as red-hot Centennial knocked off White Bear Lake 2-1 on Saturday at the TCO Sports Garden.
Clampitt, a senior forward, scored on a power play with 1:44 remaining as the No. 14-2A Cougars (14-4-2) stretched their unbeaten streak to 11 games.
Clampitt scored on a big windup and blast from long range, one-timing a feed from Harper Searles.
Nolan Roed scored for No. 10-2A White Bear Lake (14-5-1) early in the third to tie the score at 1-1. The goal was Roed's team-leading 21st of the season.
Searles scored a first-period goal for Centennial.
EDINA - Edina scored four unanswered goals to build a big early lead then held on to beat Hill-Murray 5-3 at Braemar Arena in the second game in as many nights between the longtime state powerhouses.
No. 2-2A Edina (18-2-1) beat Hill-Murray by the same 5-3 score on Friday at Aldrich Arena in Shorewood, the Pioneers' home rink.
Hill-Murray's Graham Greeder scored in the opening minute of Saturday's rematch, but Edina answered with goals from Freddie Schneider and Mason West in the first and Bobby Cowan and Michael Risteau in the second to take a 4-1 lead.
Jackson Reeves and Greeder scored in the opening 5:28 of the third period to pull the No 12-2A Pioneers (11-7-2) to within 4-3.
LAKEVILLE - Shakopee scored the final three goals as it rallied to beat Lakeville South 3-1 at Hasse Arena and sweep the season series, the first time that's happened in the programs' history.
Nate Pederson scored the winner midway through the third period and Peyton Chase added an empty net goal with 18 seconds left for the No. 6-2A Sabers (17-3-1), who have won seven straight.
Eiji Hofmann scored a shorthanded goal in the first period as No. 19-2A Lakeville South (13-7-0) took a 1-0 lead heading into the break.
NORTHFIELD - Kam Kaiser scored the final three goals and Max Frank made 28 saves to lead Northfield past Rochester Century 5-0 as the Raiders asserted their dominance in the Big 9 Conference.
Kaiser, a senior forward, scored the lone goal of the second period and added two more in the third as he reached the 30-goal mark for the season. He scored 40 goals last season and 31 as a sophomore, giving him 101 for his career.
The shutout was Frank's third of the season.
Rochester Century/John Marshall (16-4-1) is third in the Big 9 standings, one point behind second-place Owatonna and nine behind Northfield.
ROSEVILLE - Owen Corkish broke a scoreless tie just before the buzzer sounded to end overtime as Park beat Roseville 1-0 at Roseville Ice Arena.
Park (12-8-0) outshot Roseville 42-22 but Raiders goaltender Dylan Keely was superb in making 41 saves, including six in the extra session, for the Raiders (6-13-1).
Aidan Miller made 22 saves to register the shutout for the Wolfpack.
Corkish scored his eighth goal of the season with 2 seconds remaining. Caden Schwartz assisted on the goal.
COLERAINE - Greenway's Dylan Villeneuve scored with 1:18 left in the third period as the Raiders and Red Lake Falls skated to a 6-6 overtime tie at the Hodgins-Berardo Arena.
Red Lake Falls held a 3-2 lead after the first only to see Greenway take a 5-4 lead after two. Two power-play goals allowed Red Lake Falls to take a 6-5 lead before Villeneuve scored to force overtime.
Brock Seeger had two goals for Red Lake Falls (16-3-1). Villeneuve and Thomas Vekich each had two goals for Greenway (3-15-3). Vekich was also credited with three assists.
MOORHEAD - Parker Gast's goal 2:57 into the second period held up as the game winner as Moorhead handed Hermantown a 1-0 loss at the Moorhead Sports Center.
Kai Weigel made 33 saves for Moorhead (9-11-1).
Dane Callaway made 29 saves for No. 2-1A Hermantown (13-7-2), which has lost three of its last four contests.
LA CRESCENT - Noah Gillette recorded two goals and an assist as La Crescent-Hokah defeated St. Paul Academy 6-1 at the La Crescent Community Arena. The No. 19-1A Lancers are 20-1 and are riding a 16-game win streak.
Wyatt Farrell scored a goal in the first period as he continues his quest to become the state's all-time leading goal scorer. He has 44 goals and 33 assists this season, leading the state in both categories. He has 188 goals for his career, eight behind the record of 196 set by Little Falls' Ben Hanowski.
Gillette now has scored 40 goals to rank third in the state.
Peter Hoppe scored late in the second for St. Paul Academy (7-13-0).
LAKEVILLE - For the first time in its 28-game history, this matchup ended in a tie as Prior Lake and Lakeville North tied 1-1 at Ames Arena.
Blake Bachmeier gave Lakeville North (6-14-1) a 1-0 lead 83 seconds into the contest. The shot was the Panthers' lone shot in the first period.
Prior Lake (10-9-2) fired 16 shots in the first period on Lakeville North goaltender Van Eigner but couldn't score until 33 seconds remained when Graham Erickson's shot from a scramble in front of the net forced overtime.
Eigner made 41 saves for the Panthers.
In the first matchup, Prior Lake won 3-2 in overtime Dec. 29.
